Hello and welcome to a new challenge at Time Out. Our challenge this time is a CASE challenge, and we have this wonderful card by Kay Miller to inspire us.
I was inspired by Kay's color scheme of pink and grey, her flowers, and the frame that anchored her focal point.
I wish I could have improved the lighting in my photo, but when I tried to adjust it, the other colors went crazy. I used sequins as substitutes for Kay's splatters--I do not get along too well with real splatters, and I could not remember which of my stamp sets had splatter stamps.

Your translation of Kay's card is ever so gorgeous, Joyce! Your center stage flower is a delight, especially paired with your embossed background and sentiment. I hear you about 'real' splatters...not my forte either (then again, neither are sequins...placement issues!). Fantastic card - and again, hope your birthday was awesome!
