The 12 Kits of Holidays: July, 2013

I am writing this post to go live at the end of July.  When you read this, I will be with my family on our summer vacation.  This month, our hostess is Christina of Seaglass Papercrafts, and our theme is birthday.  Christina sent the most fun kit, with all sorts of things I don't have and now want (need).  That is part of the fun of this group--getting to play with stamps, papers, and other assorted goodies that I don't have.  The other part, of course, is the incredible friendship, camaraderie and support I receive from the incredible and talented group of women that Renee has assembled  in this group.

Here is a picture of the awesome kit Christina sent.  The stamps are from WPlus9, Mama Elephant, Lawn Fawn and Hero Arts, and the paper is from Echo Park.

I made 5 cards, and ran out of time before I ran out of ideas or supplies.  When I get back from vacation, I'll be visiting everyone's blogs and pinning ideas about how to use my leftover supplies.

That's it for me.  A big thank you shout out to Christina for assembling such a wonderful kit.  Please head over to Christina's blog for a complete supply list.  And, don't forget to visit the other participants in our 12 Kits group:

Joyce (that's me)

 Thanks for Visiting

  7. Joyce, wow! What a fabulous bunch of cards, I wish you would have had time to make more so I will have more to CASe later with all my leftovers. My favorite of your collection is your first cards, that fabulous piece of hot air balloon paper with that loop de loop die is just so fun and festive along with that gold embossed sentiment...love it! I would have never thought to use those lanterns with the chinese food goodies either, just too clever. All of your cards are amazing Joyce..love each and every one.

All of your designs are so wonderfully CAS but have such great little details, like the twine for the balloon strings and the glitter strip under the cake. Thanks for making this kit look so good!
