Four Cards for Saturday

Happy Saturday!  I ordered the new Funky Feather stamps from Waltzingmouse, and I could not wait to ink them up.  I used colors from this week's ColourQ cQc #196 to stamp a pattern inspired by these cards on the WMS blog post.  I've been gradually increasing my stash of SU inks and papers, and was so excited to find that I actually had all of these colors to play with.  The sentiment is from Casual Fridays Bold Wishes.

My next card is for this week's Muse 24 challenge, where we had this amazing card from Laurie Willison to case.  It took me a while to figure out what to do, as I honestly just wanted to replicate her card exactly.  I ended up using the same sketch, color scheme and impression plate, and used circles stamped on text paper as a nod to Laurie's inspiration card.  The stamped circles are from Sketched Shapes, and the sentiment is from Avery Elle.  The card front is embossed with the Woodgrain IP, but it is hard to see in this photo.

I am continuing to work my way through my favorite Hero Arts stamps for the A Blog Named Hero Playing Favorites challenge.   This card uses To/From Petals, one of my favorite flower stamps.  I did lots of masking to make this a one layer card, and I will be entering it into the Hero Arts One Layer Card Challenge.

My last card for today is for this week's Dynamic Duos DD#60 challenge of Bright Yellow and Bright Green.

And, if you were wondering....my daughter returned home last night from Virginia--safe, sound and exhausted.  As I had hoped, she had a wonderful time, and was way to busy to miss any of us back home.

I am also linking this post up to Stacey's Birthday Linky Party, as there are lots of birthday cards here for the party.
