CASology #42, DD #52, SSS and Make it Monday #115

I am just squeaking in under the wire for this week's CASology #43.  My card uses the colors of Dynamic Duos #10, in honor of Dynamic Duos #52:  Any Past Dynamic Duo, and is also for Simon Says...Things with Wings.  I was inspired by this card by Ashley Cannon Newell.

My next card is for this week's Make it Monday #115:  Beyond Paper with Impression Plates.  I had several embossing folders out to work with, but after I embossed my first piece of aluminum foil, I knew exactly what I wanted to do, and did not need to emboss anything else.  I have a feeling that I am entering the time when many of the young people I know will be getting their drivers licenses, so I think this card will come in handy.  I used googlie eyes for the headlights--this car always reminds me of Herbie the Love Bug.

Supplies Used (PTI):
Celebrate
Stamps:  Rosie Posie, Heart To Heart, Beautiful Butterflies

Other:  Mehndi Medallion Impression Plate, Autumn Rose Ribbon, Stickles

You Did It

  13. Joyce-We had the exact same idea. I posted my card and was just looking at all of them and for a second I thought it was mine, but wait, it's different. Even the same color car. Too funny! SheriE.

  14. Two great cards - love the classic elegance of the first and the second one is going into the CASE file. Perfect for a new driver - love the embossed foil & googly eyes! I've never gone to GG's garage sale - I'd love to pick up some older background stamps, but don't know anyone that has bought and/or sold there before.
