Clean & Simple Card Making (2) Day 6 and A Blog Named Hero #19

Today's homework was all about working from a sketch.  I had time to use two of the sketches to make 2 fairly quick cards.  They also showed us some inking techniques...let's just say that I spent way more time on that, and the results are in my trash bin.  Well, it happens, right?

It looks like I am unable to post the sketches that these cards are based on.  You can take my word for it.  Kristina used an Impression Obsession Cover a Card, which reminded me how quick and easy they are to work with, and that I had a bunch of them.  This one is called 'Crackle'.

My next card uses another sketch from today's lesson, and is also for this week's A Blog Named Hero Challenge #19:  Snip N Stick.

This is the last day of the Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes challenge, and I am entering both of these cards into that challenge.

  9. Great cards, Joyce! Your tone-on-tone for the sketch and that technique are fantastic! (I haven't tried the masking tape-inking technique yet, but I've heard from others that it didn't work out. Eek.)
