Two cards--Four Challenges

I had some time to craft this morning, and made a few cards that popped into my head while I was at spin class.

This first card is for this week's CAS-ual Friday's CFC37 and ColourQ cQc#122 challenges.  On the suggestion of a helpful commenter, I am also going to enter this card in The Shabby Tea Room Week #99 challenge:  Love is in the Air.  This is a brand new challenge for me.  How fun.

Are you sick of Rosie Posie yet?  I hope not.  I keep putting it away, and taking it back out again.  It seems to be the perfect set for almost everything lately.

Just a Note

This next card is for this week's One Layer Wednesday OLW77 challenge, which is to make a one layer birthday card incorporating a bird or birds.  Well, I just could not resist pulling out my favorite little owl stamp for this challenge.  I won't confess as to how many owl stamps I own, but I have to say this this was my very first, and probably still gets used the most, even though it is wooden and, therefore, a real pain to use.  Oh, what I would do to get this guy as a clear stamp...

Owl Birthday
The colors are a bit off in this photo--this is Orange Zest and Summer Sunrise ink from Papertrey--I am LOVING having all the right ink colors.  And, Turquoise by Versacolor, which has been working for me as my go-to  match for Hawaiian Shores.

Paper:  White, Kraft, Pure Poppy, True Black

  15. No, I'm not sick of Rosie Posie! I love everything I have seen using that set! I love that you used the postage die for the frame and also the cancellation mark from Postmarks. No question in my mind why you used owls as your "bird" either. These are both really well made cards. Great job on them.
