I'm playing along with this week's ColourQ challenge cQc#113. While trying to figure out what to do for this challenge, I realized that I almost never use blue on my cards, although blue is one of my favorite colors. I'm not sure why. I have two cards, but I am putting them into two different posts so I can enter the challenge twice. Click here for my other card.
I used Night of Navy (SU), Blueberry Sky (PTI), Spring Rain (PTI) and Soft Stone(PTI) paper. The closest paper I had to Sahara Sand is either Soft Stone or Kraft, so I made one card with each.

Thanks for Visiting
This is so awesome Joyce!! So glad you joined us for the CQC!!
ReplyDeleteI have this one pinned, just such a sweet birthday card. The differnet shades of blue on the white are stunning.
ReplyDeleteBlue is my favorite color too. However, I have no problem using blue as you could tell from how many of my Christmas cards contained blue.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you have a cascade of blue on this card.
I need to learn how to properly work my Wishblade so I an cut words on it.
Hi Joyce! I love blue, too, and I use it on my cards, but I rarely go exclusively with blue like this palette. I love what you've done with it!This is a great FUN birthday card that is so versatile you could give it to anyone from a child to a older man. Awesome! Thanks for playing at colourQ this week! :)
ReplyDeleteYou've taken me to a happy "blue" world! :) Love your card!
ReplyDeleteThat's an excellent way to use the colours and such a fun texty card Joyce :)

ReplyDeleteOh wow! This is terrific! Love the monochromatic wording. Very cool. I don't have these dies, but I think I might need to find a way to sneak them on to my wishlist thanks to clever you. Well done.
