I made a card for One Layer Wednesday. The challenge was to "make a one-layer card that says peace to you". Well, when I made this card, it was a sunny day and I had the house to myself. I was in a happy mood. I guess I was feeling kind of 70's groovy, so I made this card to reflect a '70's groovy kind of peace.
I used Summer Sunrise, which seemed to me to be my sunniest, happiest paper, and used Versamark to stamp a random collection of Flower Fusion flowers. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.
And, because I loved the idea of a matching envelope, which is this week's CAS-ual Friday's Challenge CFC#32, I made this envelope to match.
Here is the card and envelope together.
Peace
Thanks for Visiting
totally groovy ;) Love the set together - and I wish we could borrow a bit of that sun! We've been stuck in a cloudy gloom all week...
ReplyDeleteSuch sunshiney fun!
ReplyDeleteLove that stamped background...
and the sentiment is perfect! :)
And adore that coordinating envie!!
Your choice of Versamark as an ink to stamp those 70 daisies was a great choice. The flowers look so pretty. Envious of your sunny days. We have had nothing but clouds and rain for almost a week. At least it is not Snow.
ReplyDeleteVery groovy, Joyce! I especially love the matching envelope liner!
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant idea Joyce using all the different Flower Fusion. Great card.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a nice, finished project. I love those flowers and the summer sunrise color choice. The finished envelope liner puts my plain white envelopes to shame!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great one layer card! I love your choice of color and floral stamp. You did a great job with the matching envie.
