This week's CAS-ual Fridays Challenge, CFC #33 is to use kraft and twine on a project. Here is my first project:
I actually used the medium size heart die from Heart Prints to cut 30 hearts and glued them down to form the background for this card. Please don't ask me why I didn't just wait a couple of hours for the PTI package I knew was coming that included the heart border die... Anyway, I like how this background turned out, but I am glad that I bought that border die.
I'm going to try to play along with this challenge again later on in the week, using some of my many Market Street stamps.
Supplies Used (PTI):
Stamps: Heart Prints, Think Big Favorites
Paper: Kraft, White
Other: Twine, Heart Prints dies
Thanks for Visiting
This is beautiful! So effective with the stuck down hearts, they look like they are embossed! Happy New Year!

ReplyDeleteall your hard work paid off - love the look of the tone-on-tone hearts. And love the bigger hearts on a string - great job!
ReplyDeletelooks awesome!! love the whole background of hearts!
ReplyDeleteJoyce this is amazing! All your hard work on this background is fabulous. I must say that I bow to you die cutting all of those hearts! Love tone on tone and I must try that more often. Can't wait to see what you do with the new heart border die, I just got mine yesterday.
ReplyDeleteJoyce, this is gorgeous!! I love it! I will have to CASE this. Amazing job!
ReplyDeleteI love the background, but oh my gosh that is too funny about the border die being hours away when you cut all those individual hearts! I think all the extra work was worth it though! I love that you hung the hearts from the twine and I love Kraft, White, and Red! Especially for Valentine's!
