Leafy Vine Die Cards

I finally got a chance to play with my new Papertrey Leafy Vine Die.  I think it is one my favorite dies already, and I look forward to using it more.  I was inspired by something Melissa posted right after the release.  You can see her card here.  I get so many good ideas from Melissa, and I am always impressed by how quickly she unpacks her supplies and gets going.  I tend to buy more stuff than I can use, and then things sit for a while.

I made two cards, one to send to each of my daughters when they are at sleep-away camp for the next two weeks.  I often make cards for them that are similar, but not exactly the same.  I know that they will eventually compare their cards, and they are usually satisfied that they got the right one for them.

Sarah's Card

Rachel's Card
There are small differences in the cards, but the main difference is I will never use pink in a card for Sarah.  She wouldn't touch the card, as she has an extreme allergy to anything pink or girly.  There will also always be an owl on Sarah's cards.  This card has one hiding inside.

Supplies Used
Stamps for blue card:  IO Cover a Card Screen, Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler, PTI Fillable Frame
Stamps for pink card:  Market Street Stamps Bit of Burlap, PTI Fillable Frame, Tag-its
Other:  PTI Leafy Vine Die, Fillable Frames Die, Button, rhinestones

Thanks for looking.

  1. It is so funny how different the girls are. I am always amazed that way about my kids too. I love your cards with the vines. I notice IO Screen in the background too! Didn't realize they were going to be gone for 2 weeks. You're going to miss them, maybe not the driving all over the place part, but your house sure will be quiet!
