Bat Mitzvah Card

This card is for my daughter to give to a friend on the occasion of her becoming a Bat Mitzvah.  I used the color scheme of the invitation in my card.

I like a gate fold for a Bat Mitzvah card because it reminds me of the way the ark opens to reveal the Torah inside.  The person becoming a Bar or Bat Mitzvah has the honor of reading from the Torah for the first time.

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  PTI Mazel Tov, Paper Source Mazel Tov
Paper:  PTI Plum Pudding, SU Real Red, Parchment from stash
Other:  PTI Limitless Layers Die, Sizzix Embossing Folder, Gold & Clear embossing powder
Thanks for Visiting

  8. Don't know how I missed this one Joyce. I love the idea of a gate fold card. It has special meaning for the occasion. The colors are really nice together. Don't recognize that embossing folder, but I really like it. Reminds me of that leafy vine die.

  10. What a beautiful card and the colors are just perfect. The embossing, both the gold and what you used on the base of your card works so well together.
