I used PTI Script Swirls Birthday stamped in black for my focal point, sponged over it with Distress Abandoned Coral, and then added some splatter stamps in Delicata Gold. Really only took moments to make, once I had a chance to sit down and get started.
I am also linking this up at AAA Cards #65 where they are celebrating their 2nd birthday, Simon Says Monday Make a Wish, and Seize the Birthday (no toppings).
This week's Make it Monday #250 is all about masked backgrounds, and Laurie has a great video about it. I masked off a section of my card and sponged Hibiscus Burst, Bright Buttercup and Orange Zest inks in the open space.
I stamped an image from Larger than Life--one of my very earliest PTI purchases--I'd say I've had these stamps for at least 5 years--and I am entering this card at Retro Rubber #39: May Flowers.
I am also entering this card at Simon Says Wednesday Anything Goes.
Thanks for Visiting
