I have several cards today, the result of another crafting frenzy. All of these cards will be entered at the PTI 7th Anniversary Stripes Challenge. My first card is also for the sketch/color scheme recipe challenge.
Can you see the stripe made of paper, inside the die cut circle?
My next two cards use this week's ColourQ cQc #228 colors. The first card is also for WPlus9 Birthday Celebration Step it Up Challenge. I used the sketch from Retro Sketches #101. All the paper is from PTI as is the Striped Impression Plate.
I love this week's colors and wanted to make another striped card, this one using Distressed Stripes.
For my next two cards, I used rotated versions of the sketch above, as well as this color scheme. I made a plaid pattern using Super Stripes in all the colors above on a piece of card stock. Then, I cut the pieces I needed to make two cards.
I like how they look together.
Last up is my favorite of the day.
Thanks for Visiting
These give me goose pimples, Joyce! I'm a lover of stripes and plaids, so I'm loving these! I did stripes like that behind Gunther and love the technique. Your colors are so HAPPY in each one and did I say how much I love plaid??! Hugs, Darnell

ReplyDeleteMy head is swimming with all the loveliness you have shared today. It pays to have the right color paper and ink. Makes following the recipe so much easier. Oh, and that plaid is to die for.
ReplyDeleteYou've been so busy having a lovely time lately and we benefit by getting to see all your lovely cards! I really like the first one on kraft with a partial circle cut out. It is just so fabulous and those strips of paper almost look like leather in there. Just wonderful! I also really like the Wish Big striped card. It's all great stuff.
