Hello and welcome to CASology Week #82, where the cue word is BOLD. Our sponsor this week is Uniko Studio.
What comes to mind when you hear the word BOLD? When I saw BOLD, I thought about bold and bright colors--and how I could use them on a CAS card. I just got these really cute balloon dies from MFT--I wondered how they would look cut from some bold colored shimmer paper. Well, you tell me what you think.
This card was ridiculously simple to make. I die cut the balloons from three bold colors of shimmer paper, and stamped the strings, careful to make sure that all three strings intersected at the same place. I stamped the sentiment, from Hero Arts It's Your Day on a scrap of white and fussy cut it--that allowed me to pop it up over the balloon strings. I originally thought I'd add sequins or stamped confetti, but I ended up deciding that the card had enough already.
Check out the beautiful designs from the CASology
Design Team members and see how they were inspired by BOLD. Then,
please play along and link your creation to the CASology blog by Sunday,
February 16 by 4PM (CST).
How will you be inspired by BOLD?
I can't wait to see how you are inspired by BOLD.
Thanks for Visiting
