My Crafty Week

Hello and happy Thursday.  I am popping in quickly to share some cards I made.  First up is this little cutie, featuring some of the stamps and dies in the MFT Cats and Plants card kit.  I was inspired by the colors in the MFT Color Challenge #170.  I am also entering this card at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes.

Next up is a water color panel I made following the tutorial at PTI Live at Five.  I used Royal Velvet, Dark Indigo, and Hawaiian Shores inks and swiped directly onto my water color paper.  After that I used my steamer and then a mister to get the paper really really wet, then moved and dried the color with my heat tool.

I was able to make 2 cards out of this panel.  I went in the direction of the tropical seas, since that is what these colors suggested to me.  First I used the Shape Shifters Oval die to cut through my panel and added some tropical fish and coral silhouette die cuts.  I fussy cut a sentiment from Salt Air Sentiments.  I am entering this card at the PTI Video Challenge to make a tropical card.

I took all the negative pieces from the die cut above and added them back into a white Shape Shifters die cut, then added some more tropical silhouette die cuts.  I am entering this card at the PTI Live Around 5 Challenge.

I am also entering both of these cards at Addicted to Stamps and More #410: Die Cuts and Stencils, Use Your Stuff #427: Summer Fun, and at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes.

Next up are two wedding cards featuring one of my old PTI favorite stamps, Propose a Toast.  I think these champagne flutes are so cute, and this set has some of my favorite sentiments for wedding cards.  I will be entering both of these cards at PTI The Great Cover Up challenge to create a card with a touch of gold and also at Inkspirational #244: Spots/Dots (champagne bubbles), and at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes.

Last up today is another wedding card using a sentiment from Propose a Toast and the Cover Plate Gem Stone.  I didn't have any silver paper handy, so I swiped my white die cut with Silver Delicata Ink.  You can't even tell that the paper didn't start out as silver.  I am entering this card at PTI What Do I Do With This challenge to create a card using rainstones, Addicted to CAS #202: Geometric, and at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes.

Thanks for Visiting
