Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology. This week, our cue word is embrace.
I immediately thought of a hug. I die cut the word 'hugs' and sponged purple ink into the negative space behind my die cut.
I am also linking this card up at Addicted to CAS #101: Ombre.
Now it's your turn. How does embrace inspire you? I hope you play along this week. Please remember to keep it Clean and Simple.
Please head on over to the CASology blog and gather some inspiration from the design team.
Joyce (that's me)
We are sponsored this week by Stamplorations.
Our Guest Designer is Bobby.

Hmmm, I believe I spy the PTI linen impression on your card base...did I ever mention that I LOVE that? I love your whole card, actually...the purple is gorgeous and just pops against the crisp, white card!
ReplyDeleteGreat combo of challenges, Joyce, and very pretty textured card! I think the embrace word is so fitting for our times. Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteThe challenge combi on this card is great! And that with a super-CAS-card! Great how the hugs-word pops! Hugs, Gerrina

ReplyDeleteThank you for the 'hug' today! We spent the afternoon 'celebrating' my husband's sister's life; such a lovely, heart-warming event. Tears and laughter...I miss my sister-in-law...
ReplyDeleteHugs~c
I love the effect of sponging the negative space of a card, and you have done it to perfection with that awesome purple. The sentiment strip popped up just adds to the beautiful dimension you have created. Love it, Joyce!
ReplyDeleteHey Joyce! I love how you used the negative of the die. I also love the detail on your white card panel. How did you get that texture? I love it.
ReplyDeleteSimply gorgeous CAS design! Love the tilted design!
