CASology Week #180: Open

This is my second post for today.  If you are looking for my ColourQ post,  please click here.

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.  This week, our cue word is OPEN.  I am excited to see what you all create with this word.

I decided to focus on the open space made by a die cut.  I used CAS-ual Fridays Hope Ribbon stamps and dies to make a card for a friend's mom recently diagnosed with breast cancer.  I stamped my image in the open space made by the ribbon die.

I used the rock and roll stamping technique to get lighter and darker shades of pink on my ribbon stamp.  After all my stamping was complete, I added some texture to my card front.  I layered a couple of  'hope' die cuts and adhered them over the top of my open space.

Now, it's your turn.  How does OPEN inspire you?  I hope you play along this week. Please remember to keep it Clean and Simple.

Please head on over to the CASology blog and gather some inspiration from the design team.

We are sponsored this week by Craft Classes Online.
