I know I said I was done with this week's Make it Monday #99: Repeats & Rainbows. Well, I guess I lied! I was looking at Damask Love this morning, and read all about Amber's flat note cards with medallions, and was inspired to try a set of my own. Lately, I've been loving flat note cards. They are great to have on hand for last minute gifts.
I used color scheme #3: Pure Poppy, Orange Zest, Summer Sunrise, Ripe Avocado, Ocean Tides. I think it is my favorite of the 6. I inked up with Versamark before each color, so I could emboss the image with clear embossing powder. I put a tiny little rhinestone in the center of each medallion.
I took a coordinating piece of card stock, embossed it with the Mehndi Impression Plate, and adhered it to the back of each note card.
You can see the detail better here:
Envelopes got a partial Mehndi stamp in the matching color.
Now, I know this will be my last Make it Monday #99 post, because I am out of time.
