Time Out #170...Reminder
This challenge will run another week. I hope you will take some Time Out of your busy schedule to play along with us.
Mid-Week Update
Hello and happy Wednesday. I could not wait to ink up my Winter Fox stamps from Mama Elephant and SSS. I made this card, inspired by the challenges at AAA Cards #174, AAA Birthday #17, Inkspirational #221 (the log, balloons, and woodland feel) and Seize the Birthday #199: no topping.
I also inked up my newest die collection, Toadstool Garden from The Greetery. I was inspired by the colors at CAS Colours & Sketches #388, and am also entering this card at CAS Mixup September: Embossing with Dies (I used Leaf Pattern Cover-Up die from Lil Inkers), WWC #289: Anything Goes Masculine and Seize the Birthday #199: no topping.
For this next design, I sponged a rainbow of inks on the houses, and sponged all the trees green.

CASology Week #374...Vacation
Now it's your turn. How does VACATION inspire you?
As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:
- One main image
- Lots of open space, uncluttered
- Limited layers & embellishments
- Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)
I hope you play along this week.
Please head on over to the CASology blog and gather some inspiration from our Guest Designer Francesca and the design team. We are sponsored this week by STAMPlorations.

My Crafty Weekend
Hello and happy Sunday. I am starting out today with a group of cards initially inspired by this card I saw during the MFT release this week. Of course, I had to buy that fabulous background stamp, but it also inspired me to bring out an older Hero Arts background stamp (Urban Skyline Bold Prints) I have had for a while. I pulled out an even older Hero Arts stamp (Owl Christmas) and made this card.
I stamped my background in black, and then heat embossed it also in black, to get a really dark and crisp background. I stamped and fussy cut my little owls, and then colored their bodies with Copics. There were parts of the owls that stamped black, but I wanted them to be red, so I stamped the owls again in red, and then just cut and past the red bits on to my colored owls.
I am entering this card at Stay Crafty with Hero #14: Critters and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Humorus/Fun.
