Hello and happy Thursday. An empty house is a crafty house, so I have been crafty lately.
I finally pulled out 2 different stamp sets from Sugar Peas that I fell in love with, ordered and haven't used yet. I mixed and matched between the two sets and made two cards that I will be entering at Sugar Peas June Mix It Up Challenge #80 and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Create a Scene.
This card was inspired by the color scheme part of the challenge. I am also entering this card at Less is More #444: Favorite Technique (fussy cutting).
This next card is mostly inspired by the photo in the challenge, although I did use the challenge colors. I paper pieced all the elements of the bed--it's been a while since I have done that, and my scissors were already out...
My inspiration for this next card is the challenge at A Blog Named Hero June. I used a tone on tone green color scheme. I used a shade of ink a darker green than my paper. And, to increase the contrast, I stamped over my image with Versamark and clear heat embossed my image. I also clear embossed the darker green paper used for my sentiment die cut.
This next card has me playing along at Fusion, and my inspiration was the seashells in the picture, and the starfish in particular. I am also playing along at Seize the Birthday #216: Nautical, and The Male Room #151: Dads & Grandads (this card would be perfect for any of those men in my life)
Last up is a card that combines the colors from Color Throwdown #646, the sketch at CAS Colours & Sketches #423, the PTI Video Challenge to use layered flowers, and AAA Birthday #26: Flowers.
That's it for me today.
Thanks for Visiting
