Hello and happy Tuesday. My first card is inspired by the challenge at Memory Box #69: Pretty Purples. I used Memory Box Cityscape dies to create my skyline, and used 2 different shades of purple paper as well as 2 different shades of purple ink. So, 4 different purples, and I know exactly where this card will go.
I created the moon by masking off a crescent moon shape and sponging and blending the sky. It is hard to see, but there is a light flurry of snowflakes in the sky.
I am also entering this card at Addicted to Stamps and More #399: Any Occasion, Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Texture, and Use Your Stuff #416: It's My Favorite (Cityscape dies definitely a favorite).
One more love-themed card for the stash...some hugs to send along to a friend. I used the Hugs Heart die from Poppystamps for this card, inspired by the challenge at Poppystamps #77: I Love You. I die cut 3 of the hearts out of white, and arranged the hearts to form a larger heart. I die cut three more hearts out of red, and used the red 'hugs' to replace the white letters inlaid into the heart die cuts. I put a tiny rhinestone into the flower cut out in the bottom heart.
I am also entering this card at CAS on Friday #198: Love, Inkspirational #232: Hearts and Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Texture.
Thanks for Visiting
