Happy Sunday. I am popping in quickly with a card using the inchie technique from PTI Make it Monday #326. I tried a couple of different things, but what I liked the best was when I stamped a large floral image, cut it apart, and then reassembled it.
I am also entering this card at Just Us Girls #447: Anything Goes and Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes.
If you are a regular visitor, you are probably surprised to see only 1 card from me on a Sunday. I was away all week, visiting family and living it up in New York City with my youngest daughter. I feel lucky to have gotten this one card made today, in between sorting the mail and catching up on the laundry.
Thanks for Visiting
Oh, this is perfect in my opinion and the way I'm used to doing it! So very pretty!! And you're right, I looked yesterday for your usual Saturday output and wondered if you were on vacation.
ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous approach of incorporating inchies in a design. Your card is lovely. Hope you were in NYC at the start of the week with the glorious summer weather rather than the hot and humid gross summer weather later in the week.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors! Your inchie design is perfect and really shows off the gorgeous blooms. Glad you were able to have a fun get-away with your daughter and family.
ReplyDeletebeautiful card! it reminds me a bit of one of those slide puzzles - inchies are a great option to just stamping the complete image. thanks for playing making monday!!
ReplyDeleteJoyce, this is absolutely stunning! Love, love, love your card.
ReplyDeleteJoyce I have to agree with you there, I think inchie squares look better when you have a large image that has been cut apart. The perfect finish was leaving off the corner one

This was a wonderful way to go with the challenge, Joyce. I love the flowers and can see this done with only some of the inchies colored.
