I am so happy to be posting today, along with the other members of The 12 Kits of Occasions as a guest on Tracey's 12 Days of Christmas Tags. I am lucky enough to be joining Tracey for the second time this week. Click here to see my other Guest Designer post.
My tags today were inspired by this tutorial by Betsy Veldman that I saw last week. I used water color paper for my tags, and PTI reinkers for my watercoloring. All the sentiments are from Tis the Season, and are stamped in Brilliance Lightning Black. It is hard to tell from this picture, but the Lightning Black is a very shimmery black ink with tones of gold. Sounds strange, but it is very striking in person.
I used Tropical Teal and Plum Pudding reinkers for these tags. It was very quick and easy to make this tag set, because I water colored a piece of paper that was about 4" by 11". When the water colors were dry, I cut out all the tags, flipping the die around for the last 2 tags. Then, I stamped the sentiments.
I used Harvest Gold and Aqua Mist on these tags. Sorry about the dark photos. When I tried to lighten them, the colors looked very strange.
