Hi there. I have a card to share for this week's Muse #85, where our inspirational card is provided by Marion Vagg. I thought her card was absolutely stunning, and wanted to completely replicate it down to the last detail. But, I know I am not supposed to do that, so I made a card, inspired by this card, that is just a little bit different, but I hope captures some of the stunningness of Marion's card.
I used SU Stippled Blossoms for the flowers--2-step stamping and fussy cutting--I love this set as it provides for shading and depth without coloring. Marybeth brought this set to my house a few weeks ago, and I loved it so much that I ordered my own. As this is the first time I am using it, I am entering this card at Darnell's NBUS #2 Challenge.
Here is a close up of the flowers and leaves. I do not think I could have done that on my own with either copics or colored pencils. Can you see that both flowers are coated with Wink of Stella?
Thanks for Visiting
You positively NAILED Marion's gorgeous card, Joyce! Bold and beautiful and just prezackly what one wants in a birthday card!! Thank you so much for playing again in my NBUS Challenge!! Hugs, Darnell

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! (I think I went a little wacky in my "interpretation" of the MUSE - EEK! first time trying and was trying to be a bit creative - but I see most are more closely aligned to the original photo - a bit embarrassed!! :| ) But thank you for your kind comment and compliment!
