It's Tuesday, and you know what that means? Another CASology challenge, and this week our cue word is METAL. What do you think of when you think of METAL?
I thought about this one for a long time, and finally decided to pull out one of my favorite images from an older PTI set that has not seen ink in a long time--Garden Variety. There is a watering can image in that set that I just love, so I stamped it, embossed it with silver embossing powder (it is supposed to look like tin), cut it out and popped it up on my card. I also used a piece of silver shimmer paper on the right edge of my top panel.
How about you? What do you think of when you see the word METAL? Have some fun with this cue word, and then please link up your creation on the CASology blog by Monday 5/12 at noon (CST).
Since CASology is a Clean And Simple challenge, I thought it would be helpful to review some things to keep in mind when creating a CAS design:
1. One main image
2. Lots of open space (uncluttered)
3. Limited layers & embellishments
4. Quick & easy to recreate

You can see that my card meets all 4 criteria above.
