I am playing along with Merry Monday for the first time. When I saw this incredibly cute owl inspiration picture, I knew it was time for me to join in. I pulled out one of my oldest stamp sets--Hero Arts Owl Christmas and got to work coloring and paper piecing. I am also entering this card at Simon Says Monday Challenge to use a stamp.
This card was a bit time consuming, but it was fun to color and dress up all those owls. I used papers from Echo Park Seasons Greetings, and added some details to the owls like Marvy White Liquid Applique to the snow hats, Glossy Accents on the black hat, and Ranger Black Enamel Accents to all the owl eyes. I made my pattern paper hills with the Simon Says A2 Card Curved Edge Die.
I am entering my second card for today into the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge to Bling it On, as well as the following challenges that are all about snow: CAS-ual Fridays CFC 123, Addicted to CAS #28, and Curtain Call Sweet Snowflakes. This is the first time I tried using my new PTI Tipped Top dies, and I just love how easy they make everything. It took me more time to type up the list of snow related challenges for this card than it did to make it.
I used papers from Echo Park Winter Wishes, Wonderful Words Snow stamps and die, as well as the Mehndi Impression plate.
Thanks for Visiting
