Hello and happy Thursday. I have a card today for this week's CASology Challenge #75, where the cue word is KNIT. I have been knitting ever since I was a little girl and my grandmother taught me how to knit. So, what is more fun than knitting? Stamping about knitting. I am also entering this card into the Bling it On Challenge over at Simon Says Wednesday.
I have still not put away my Tipped Tops dies, and I used them to create this card. I stamped a knitted background with Berry Sorbet on Berry Sorbet paper for my middle layer, and Berry Sorbet on White using Knit Bits for my top layer. That little heart is also on Berry Sorbet paper, cut out, popped with dimensional adhesive and coated with Glossy Accents. My bling is the three sequins.
I recently bought several Hero Arts stamps on sale at Joann's, and used the Everything Flower background stamp to replicate a coffee cup I saw recently that had white flowers on a dark blue background. I inked the stamp up with Versamark, stamped and embossed with clear embossing powder, and then sponged Chipped Saphire Distressed Ink all over. Super quick and easy, but I think the finished product looks very striking. I am linking this card up to the Simon Says Monday Challenge to use a stamp.
I added a sentiment from Hero Arts It's Your Day on a banner cut with a Sketched Shapes die.
Thanks for Visiting
