Two Birthday Cards

I made two birthday cards today.  My first card uses the colors from this week's CAS-ual Fridays CFC112 challenge, the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch CTS#41, and is inspired by the balloons at the Lil Inker 3rd Birthday Challenge.  I am also linking up at this week's Seize the Birthday Anything Goes Challenge.  I put my sentiment on a Stitched Sentiment Flag and then trimmed both ends into v's without stitching (so they would match).

My second birthday card is for this week's Curtain Call Carnival Craze.  This is my first time playing in this challenge.  When I saw all the DT playing with Admit One, I decided to pull out my set and play along.  My card design was inspired by this card by Kasia.  I loved all the black stamping on white with only one image colored in.  I used Glossy Accents on the colored ponies.  I am also linking this card up at this week's Seize the Birthday Anything Goes Challenge.

Love it!!! Your balloon bouquet is so fun and very festive. I remember when Ashleigh was younger I would always get her a big balloon bouquet like this...just so fun.

  9. Wow! Look at these great cards...I love all those balloons and great idea to notch both ends to make it look like the element in the sketch...and your carnival card is so cute in the black and white with just a few pieces colored in! I don't have any carnival stuff and it is such a cute idea.
