One Layer Wednesday and Paper Smooches Sparks



I have another card for this week's One Layer Wednesday #138, where the theme is Spring has Sprung.  Since the sponsor this week is Waltzingmouse, I decided to make another card--this time using only Waltzingmouse stamps.  I made a chevron rainbow, using the most bright, happy, spring-like colors I had.



I also made a card for this week's Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge, where the theme is Anything Goes.  I cased myself from this card that I made a while back for a CASE Study challenge.  I just bought the Bo Bunny Hello Sunshine pad, and couldn't resist making a card to highlight one of the brightest sheets from that pad.

    Oh my, what an amazing birthday card! And those fabulous sequins too, this is just beautiful Joyce.
    Your second reminds me of Haight St. in San Francisco, I am not sure why but it does and that is a good thing. So fun and funky!

    These are lovely (and the second one works well for Fusion - go check it out!) I think a bright rainbow is the perfect sign of spring - wonderful OLW card!

    Love them both! I did not know WMS had a chevron stamp. I love that it's a one layer…. looks like so much more with all the bright colors. Love the fun flower paper on the PS card .

    Wow Joyce that birthday card is just gorgeous! I love all the different coloured chevrons so bright and cheery. I think that is another paper pad I wish I had gotten--love that card.

    Oh, love your bright rainbow, with the white sentiment and sequins! And the orange cap on your second card is so smart to highlight your DP. An incredibly happy color combination, that's for sure!
