Ombre Color Blocking with Fresh Squeezed

I ordered my first set of Fresh Squeezed stamps on Sunday, and they were in my hot little hands by yesterday (Tuesday).  Now, that is blazing fast shipping.  I couldn't wait to ink them up, and made this thank you card.  I am submitting it for this week's CAS-ual Fridays CFC93:  Color Blocks as well as the Ombre Challenge in the Moxie Fab world.  Here is a little secret--the stamp is actually too tall to fit in the Lil Inkers Stitched rectangle that had the width I liked, so I snuck an extra colored section in the middle.  Since they are all pieced together, it looks like it belongs there.  I stamped the house with the heart in it again on the darkest green (Ripe Avocado) and popped it up with foam tape and coated it with Glossy Accents.

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  Fresh Squeezed Subway Basics
Paper:  Ripe Avocado, Simply Chartreuse, Limeade Ice, Spring Moss, Spring Moss Patterned, Rustic Cream
Ink:  Versafine Onyx Black
Other:  Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangles

Thanks for Visiting

  1. What a lovely card. I love the stamp you used. I haven't heard of that company so I'm going to have to check them out.

And of course it all looks great on those Lil' Inker dies.

  2. You are too smart to adding an extra space for the stamp to fit. I would never have guessed that. Love this card Joyce and the beautiful blend of greens.

  3. This one looks so fun to try - love the layers of greens and you made them look perfect together. I'm thinking I'd have to restamp this a few hundred times to get a good impression on the lines!
