Today, I have three cards. The first is for this week's Retro Sketches RS#51.
My next card is for this week's Make it Monday MIM#104, where Ashley shows us how to make a pinwheel out of a square of paper. I had never done it this way, since I have not one, but two, pinwheel dies. Ashley's way is actually much quicker.
My last card is just for fun. Earlier this week, I saw two cards over at the Waltzingmouse Blog Party that inspired me--Renee's card because of the layout, and Lynn's card because of the amazing shimmery embossing she did. Seeing her card reminded me that I have shimmery embossing powder that I had forgotten about.
I used Versamark and SU Brilliant Blue, and then embossed with Stampendous Kaleidoscope powder. Here is a side views to see the rainbow shimmer better.

ReplyDeleteAll three of your cards are, as usual, fabulous Joyce. Your RS is very fun with those pretty flowers, the MIM pinwheel sits inside the frame perfectly and I love those patterns you used and finally I think it is great that you created a card just because.
