I had time to make a card today, and I was so pleased at how it came together. My idea actually fits 3 of my favorite challenges:
Make it Monday #73: Stamping on Patterned Paper (no, I am not tired of this trick yet)
CAS-ual Fridays CFC60: Text Me
I bought an Italian book while on vacation this spring for the sole purpose of papercrafting, and cut a page of it using the Spiral Notebook die (the text for CAS-Fridays). Stamped flowers from Daydreamer right on that paper (MIM), and used this week's layout from Retrosketches. Easy as 1-2-3.
Supplies Used (PTI):
Stamps: Daydreamer, BB: Wrought Iron, Asian Fusion
Paper: Italian Book Print, Vintage Cream, Pure Poppy
Ink: Pure Poppy, Ripe Avocado, Memento Tuxedo Black
Thanks for Visiting

I'm have mad love for this card! It's just stunning and I love the Italian text. I'm going to have to CASE that design.
ReplyDeleteFunny, I'm a writer and I've always said that once people buys one of my books they can do anything they want with it -- share it, sell it, or even line the bird cage with it. (Though I'd prefer not to hear about that, lol) But I NEVER imagined anyone using a page for a card. Which would actually be way cool.
How fun that you bought a book just so you can use the pages for papercrafting. I love it! Your card turned out great...very pretty.
