I am in love with two new dies I just got from Lil' Inkers. They make the most fun pinwheels you have ever seen. They come in two sizes. The pinwheel on the card below is made with the Original Pinwheel die.
Here is a peek inside the card:
Here are some lunchbox notes I whipped up using the mini pinwheel die (of course, there are chocolates inside). These mini pinwheels are the perfect size to decorate the lunchbox notes.
If you have been reading my blog at all, you know that I am in love with the Seed Packet Die. I felt it was only right to introduce my two loves and see how well they would get along......
I think it's a match made in heaven, don't you?
You would not believe how quick and easy it is to make these pinwheels. There is a tutorial here
on the Lil' Inker website. Basically, you just cut 6 little 'petals'
and attach them with a brad. You need double sided paper, although I think I might just try stamping on the white back side of regular patterned paper.
Also, I need to say that this is the first time I have ever ordered from Lil' Inker, and I was so impressed with their level of service and how quickly they shipped my dies.
I have lots more planned for this die, so stay tuned.

ReplyDeleteI like your idea about making your own pattern paper for the 2nd side. Much cheaper too! Need to save money so we can buy more PTI.
Wow! These are adorable! I also like that you have been showing us the inside of your cards. The inside looks beautiful and finished too. Boy I sure could get some use out of these.
