Hi there
I'll make it brief, as this is my second post of the day. I'm playing along with PTI's Make it Monday #35: Custom Stamped Washi Tape and ColorQ #105. Nicole showed us how easy it is to use Scor-Tape to make our own Washi Tape. Since I only had 1/8 and 1/4 inch Scor-Tape, I thought it would look better on a mini card.
My card is 2 .5 by 3.5, sized for the Seed Packet Die. The inks I used to match the ColorQ colors were Memento Tuxedo Black, Memento Rich Cocoa, VersaMagic Aloe Vera, and Versacolor Lavender.
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Background Basics Retro, Background Basics Text Style, Mixed Messages
Thanks for Visiting
This is really clever, I have been hearing about this washi tape all over the place and have never actually seen any in person. I love the layers on your card with the different stamped backgrounds.
ReplyDeleteoooh, love the scripted washi tape! I'll have to try that out :)
ReplyDeleteI love that you used the scripted stamps to make the washi tape! Great mix of patterns!
ReplyDeleteGood idea to use it on a mini card, with the thinner tape. Turned out very nice.
