Hello hello....I am popping in with 2 quick cards for a couple of different challenges. I just received Hero Arts Lounging Pups, and I had to get inky right away.
First up is this adorable dog, reading a book and lounging in his hammock. Think of this as Sherlock reading a book, and I think the book is about how to catch a bird (Sherlock often forgets he cannot fly when he tries to chase and catch the birds in our backyard).
I am entering this card at the following challenges: A Blog Named Hero: Cute, Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Oh So Cute, Stay Crafty with Hero #13: Creative Bug (day 1 stamping), Watercooler Wednesday #285: Anything Goes Masculine, and Inspired By #137: Critter 6 Pack.
Next up is a card using a very fun candle die that I recently won over at Memory Box, paired with MFT Big Birthday Sentiments. I used the colors at Just Us Girls #549 to make this masculine birthday card, and I am also entering at Cupcake Inspirations #500, The Male Room #141: 7th birthday (YAY!!), Watercooler Wednesday #285: Anything Goes Masculine and Seize the Birthday #197 (no toppings).
Stay Safe and Craft On.
Thanks for Visiting
The pup reading in a hammock - a perfect image for you, and love the colouring. The pitcher of lemonade looks very refreshing, too! What an awesome candle die to have won, and I love the rich colours. Thanks for adding it to the Seize the Birthday linkup!

ReplyDeleteI so can relate to that fox lunging in his hammock reading a book. I have bee spending quite a lot of time reading since this pandemic began and I forgot how much I enjoyed it. So I guess that is one positive thing that came out of this nightmare. Anyways, that is an adorable card along with your candle card. There is NO such thing as too many candles that is for sure. Love the way you incorporated our colors at Just Us Girls. Thanks for playing along there and at Seize the Birthday! We always look forward to seeing your work.
ReplyDeletewhat a fab image on the first card-wish it was me there instead of Sherlock! What do you think he is reading!!! And wonderful texture on the second. Wish some of you mojo would come my way!
