CASology Week #370...Father

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.   This week, our cue word is FATHER.  I decided to use this as an opportunity to make a Father's Day card.  My father and my father-in-law are both originally from New York, so I pulled out the New York skyline stamp from Tim Holtz Cityscape stamps and created two very quick Father's Day cards.  I kept my color scheme very simple, and changed the orientation of the card so I would have two similar, but not the same, Father's Day cards.

I think I like the vertical orientation best.  How about you?

Now it's your turn.  How does FATHER inspire you?

As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:
  1. One main image
  2. Lots of open space, uncluttered
  3. Limited layers & embellishments
  4. Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)

I hope you play along this week.

Please head on over to the CASology blog and gather some inspiration from our Guest Designer and the CASology design team.  We are sponsored by STAMPlorations.

Thanks for Visiting

  2. Your vertical card is my fave, but I do love them both, Joyce! A cityscape is a great idea for a masculine card and your color palette is fabulous! Thanks for inspiring us to play along :)
