Time Out #160...Reminder...Happy Birthday



There is still time to play along with our current challenge at Time Out.  This week, we challenge you to be inspired by the photo below...


Here is a larger version of the photo.  There is so much in this photo to be inspired by.  What will you choose?  



I was inspired by the color scheme--black and yellow--and the various patterns I saw on the chair, pillow and foot stool.  I used a graphic stamp from Uniko called Mid Century Modern II. 



I stamped the image once in black on white card stock, then filled in some of the open shapes with yellow Copic markers.  I used white embossing powder on black cardstock for my card front.

    I think it is genius that you chose to interpret the photo with this stamp set. I love to see the way people's brains work with photo challenges. This is so fantastic! Thank you for your wonderful comment on my take. yours is so, so fun!
