Our sponsor for Day 3 is Newton's Nook.
I really love this wonderful neighborhood stamp in Newton's Nook Main Street stamps, and used a variety of methods to color it. I used Copic markers for this tag.
On this tag, I used darker and brighter Copics for my two houses, and a rich sponged background.
The scale of this stamp lent itself perfectly to a card. I decided to use paper piecing for color on this card. I repeatedly stamped the houses on different colors of paper, then cut them out and pieced back together.
My last card was the quickest and easiest of all to make. I used brushes to sponge and blend a different color on each house, without worrying too much about staying between the lines. I fussy cut the entire line up of buildings and adhered it to a base I had already sponged and used embossing paste to create a snowy night.
Check out the adorable mini snowman front and center in every scene.
