Guest Designer....Tag You're It! #69...Never Give Up

Hello and happy Friday.  I am so pleased to be posting today as a Guest Designer at Tag You're It #69. Here is the tag I made for your inspiration.

There is actually a story behind this tag.  Remember the Woman's March in January 2017.  Here is a picture, in case you missed it.

Millions of women marching, many wearing a knitted pink pussy cat hat.  Like this one:

For months now, I have been knitting pink hats, first giving them to family and friends, and then selling them to raise money for refugees.

Of course, I had to package my hats in a cute and creative way.  I rolled them up, put then in a clear cello bag, labeled with a pompom of matching yarn and my tag.

Knitting all these hats has definitely been a stress reducer, as I have found the last 70 or so days to be very stressful.  And, the extra effort to package them in a cute way has definitely been appreciated.

I used a cat stamp from Technique Tuesday and a sentiment from CASual Fridays Hope Ribbon for my sentiment.

I am also entering this tag at Addicted to Stamps and More #236: Anything Goes.

Thanks for Visiting

  6. Hats off---pun intended---for continuing to fight the good fight. It is a distressing time to live in and your post offered a little light. I marched on that day and haven't been inspired to do anything like that since Richard Nixon ran for office. Fight on for justice and change. Hoo-rahhhh!

  17. Apologies for late commenting (hectic-ness), but so glad that now, in a quiet space, I can appreciate and enjoy, even more, the 'intent' behind your darling tag! Your commitment to your 'purpose', demonstrated through the marvelous knitted hats is deeply inspiring. Great to hear that your positive actions are helping reduce stress. I picked up my knitting needles today - still such a beginner! I'm going to go with the 'one row scarf' pattern I found today. My goal: to make some of the adorable dinosaurs from a pattern book I've had for quite a while. The T-Rex is awesome (as are all the others). Not sure I'll ever learn kfb or m1, but aiming to try! Thanks for the Pom Pom delight (and LOVE your comment over at my place!)!
    Hugs~c
