Everything Will Be Okay and Birthday Wishes



I've got a quick post with two cards I made this week.  First up is a card inspired by this beauty over at Muse #201 by Valentyna.

Valentyna's Inspiration Card


I was inspired by the pink flowers and greenery and the way the flowers hug the corner and sort of embrace the sentiment.



My second card is very similar to the inspiration card at this week's Make it Monday #274, where we are encouraged to die cut our patterned paper.  I dug deep into my stash of PTI patterned papers and found some Guidelines papers to use for this card.


I am also linking this card up at Less is More #313 where the challenge is balloons, and Addicted to CAS #103:  Wish.

    Two beautiful cards Joyce...so in love with your first card, that sentiment is one of the sweetest ones I have ever seen used and it goes so well with your beautiful pink flowers. Love your birthday card with those purple patterned paper balloons, adorable.

    I love, love the embossing folder behind your pink posies, Joyce. Would you believe I have that same paper pack you used on the balloons. I think it was one of the first things I bought from PTI way back when I did a LOT of DSP layering.

    Joyce, your cascading flowers with your sentiment is perfection on the embossed background. Patterned paper balloons look awesome using those colors. Two awesome cards!

    Your Muse card had my vote this week - I love those squiggly flowers! Those purple papers are so pretty and thanks for the reminder to dig out that sentiment!

    The floral sprig is beautiful Joyce especially on the embossed background and the patterns on your purple balloons are so pretty---eeek!
