Popping in quickly to share 2 cards. First up, I am playing along with PTI Create Along with Us, by CASEing this beautiful card by Kay Miller.
Kay Miller's Card |
I tried to duplicate Kay's design, using stamps and dies from last year's Spruce and Sprigs.
I am also entering this card at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Clean and Simple and Just Us Girls #360 to use sequins. The sequins I use are woodgrain, from Serendipity Stamps.
Next up is a housewarming card, using a very old Penny Black stamp called Uptown. I am entering this card at Retro Rubber #47: Anything Goes. I have no idea how long I have had this stamp set, but it has been a long time. This stamp I used consisted of a row of 4 houses nestled together.
I masked and stamped all the way up the page, cutting and coloring just one of the houses to pop up with foam tape. The sentiment is from PTI Super Succulents.
I am also entering this card at The Challenge #77 and Addicted to Stamps and More #211: Anything Goes.
Thanks for Visiting
I love both of these cards, Joyce, they're just so perfectly designed. I'm thinking that Kay's card is probably my most favourite from all the release projects. You did an amazing card CASEing it.
ReplyDeleteJoyce oh my goodness your create along with us is amazing amazing!! I bought that set last year after Christmas so it hasn`t seen ink yet but after seeing this I am so inspired to use it. I didn`t get the dies and kind of wish I did because the Scan N Cut will might not cut the detail shapes very well! Anyway--love. Second card what a fantastic stamp! So cool! xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh Joyce your cards are divine, what a wonderful case <3
ReplyDeleteI really like both the cards you created. The first card is lovely with all the layers. I like the second card with just the house colored in. Great design.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous take on Kay's card - I especially like the ombre shading on the "seasons" die cut. Loving the housewarming card too! Those houses are super cute. I'm always intimidated by all the coloring on busy images like that but highlighting the one house is a brilliant solution to that!
