Time Out #63...Joy




It's time for a new challenge at Time Out.  Our challenge this week is a theme challenge with an optional twist.

The theme is holidays with the optional twist of no stamping (sentiment stamp allowed).


I decided to play along with the twist, and looked to my word dies to help me satisfy the challenge. I used a PTI Phrase Play die (joy) and some patterned paper for my card.  Quick and easy, once I worked out what I wanted to do.

    I love the elegant colour combination that you used - and that die cut is beautiful - I just love how it stands out against the patterned paper!

    Gold, black and white ... so wonderfully elegant and stylish, Joyce ... simply beautiful! Just passed a lovely time catching up on your posts over the last few weeks or so of my MIA ... as ever, such inspiration and such fabulous cards ... from the camping v Four Seasons Hotel one(I chose the latter!) through to 12 kits and everything in between!     Beautiful card Joyce. I never saw that die... I love the way the word is so spread out. Such a wonderful compliment to the gold snowflakes and the frame of black. Beautiful. Wonderful. Elegant.
