Spring Woods

I broke out my new Spring Woods stamps and have two cards to share today.  My first card is inspired by the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch #163 and the Sponged Stamping technique at Make it Monday #242.

I used Pure Poppy and Scarlet Jewel inks on the bird and Sweet Blush and Berry Sorbet inks on the flowers.

I cut up one of the branches to arrange things according to the sketch.

While I had everything aligned for my Misti, I stamped a few more birds and branches.

I am entering this card at Simon Says Wednesday A Bit O' Green and Addicted to Stamps and More #184 Clean and Simple.

Thanks for Visiting

  1. Awesome cards, Joyce! One would never know you used the same stamp set for both cards because they are so different. Great color choices. Keep telling myself I don't need Spring Woods but every time I see it used, I weaken a bit. There are so many now on my wish list it's just crazy.
