CASology Week #189: Doodle

This is my second post today.  If you are looking for my ColourQ post, please click here.

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.   This week, our cue word is
Doodle.  I have seen many doodles stamp sets.  I own several of them.  However, I decided to actually doodle myself on my card.

Yes, that is right.  I used a pen and doodled right on my card.  You can do it too, if you like.

I started by stamping and die cutting several solid images from PTI Bloomers.  Then, I doodled all over those flowers and leaves.  I used a very thin black marker as well as a white gel pen.

I used the same thin black pen to draw a frame around my card.  Because I knew I would not be able to draw a straight line, I purposely drew some lines that were wonky.  Reminds me of the wonky rectangle dies I've been using on practically everything.

Now, it's your turn.  How does DOODLE inspire you?  I hope you play along this week. Please remember to keep it Clean and Simple.

Please head on over to the CASology blog and gather some inspiration from the design team.

We are sponsored this week by Stamplorations.

  25. Your doodling rocks, Joyce, both on the frame and the flowers. I actually thought the black part of the flowers was stamped. :) What white gel pen do you use? I've had a couple and they were crap!!

  26. I have such a fear of doodling directly on anything CAS...mixed media, no prob so kudos to you for making the leap and even bigger ones for this beautiful card Joyce! Nice way to tie in the doodles on the blossoms!

  27. I forgot about actually doodling on the flowers, Joyce. That was a Make It Monday challenge some time ago and I think I did it then. Your doodled frame is great, all wonky and all.
