Time Out #47...Birthday Wishes




Hello and welcome to a new challenge at Time Out.  This week, our theme is BIRTHDAY with an optional twist of SPONGING.


I decided to make a birthday card using PTI Winter Woods stamps and dies.  I sponged several colors of Distress inks on my card front before attaching the die cut trees.  



I am also entering this card at Seize the Birthday, where the theme is Anything Goes, and Simon Says Monday Challenge: Something New.

    Your sponging is excellent, really blends well. Love this woodland die and cutie bird adds a real rich colour to your card x

    What a pretty card! The blended background is fabulous and I love the simple white trees for the little chickadee to perch in. Perfectly done, Joyce!

    Wow, Joyce! You have really outdone yourself on this one! I am amazed at how clean and crisp it looks-- yet the scene you created is full of warmth and hope.
