Happy Little Stampers Blog Hop





Hello and welcome to the Happy Little Stampers Second Release Blog Hop.  If you are hopping in order, you should have come to me from Loll Thompson.

Take a look at all the new stamps from Happy Little Stampers.  



I was lucky enough to get to play with Whimsical Friends, and I have 4 cards to show you.  This stamp set is so fun to play with, and the images are just adorable.

I started by repeatedly stamping the elephant image across the bottom of my card.  I used WPlus9 Fairy Dust ink for all the images except the one I colored.  I used Copics to color in one elephant as well as his bird friend perched on his back.  I added a pattern to the blanket on the elephant's back. 








I used a sentiment from Whimsical Friends as well as most of the birds for my next card, again coloring with Copics.







The images in this set are perfect for paper piecing, too.  I used some scraps from an old Echo Park paper pad. 







Last up, I wanted to show how these images would work stamped as a background.  I randomly stamped several of the images on to a piece of card stock, and then merely scribbled a bit of color using Distress markers.


I added a sentiment heat embossed in white on a stitched flag die cut.

    Oh my goodness Joyce! All of these are so wonderful. I love the way you stamped the elephant image across the bottom for the first card, but only colored one. Love the bird sitting on top and the placement of the sentiment. Love the shading on #2, and the placement of the bird atop the sentiment. The paper piecing on #3 is wonderful as is the scribble partial coloring on #4. Superb set of cards my friend!

    Wow, girl, you went nuts with the cards for the hop--I love them all but my favorite is the line of elephants marching along. I love these stamps--so many possibilities!

    I have so many favorites I can't even keep them straight... Hold on let me scroll through one more time....... Okay all are just fantastic!! The bird on the elephant is so cute and the birds just hanging out is so colorful but my absolute favorite is the bird bg card... I love the color, composition and sentiment!!
