Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for a new color challenge at ColourQ. Aren't these shoes just darling? I think that being on this Design Team is going to cost me a lot of money. Already, I have ordered the pajamas featured on ColourQ #306. I need to make sure I don't order something every week.
I decided to make a shaker birthday card for this week's colors. I used Pale Plum and PTI Royal Velvet (for the Blackberry Bliss) for the front and back of my shaker, which I cut using the Text Block Horizontal Birthday Die.
To fill my shaker, I used clear beads and sequins as well as sequins that closely matched Bravo Burgundy and Summer Starfruit. The card did not look quite festive enough, so I stamped a bunch of balloons across the top--now it looks like a proper party.
Darnell has a NBUS challenge #5 going on over at her blog, so I am entering this card over there, as the Birthday die is NBUS. Don't know what NBUS is? Head over to Darnell's to learn more--I'm sure you will realize that you have some and want to play along too.
Please head on over to the ColourQ challenge blog to see more inspiration from the design team. I hope you will join in the fun and play along this week.
Thanks for Visiting
Love how the balloons look transparent because of the darkened layers where they overlap - well done!
