CASology Week 113: Grass

Happy Tuesday, friends.  It's time for another cue word at CASology.  This week, our cue word is GRASS.  Hmmm.  I can think of a couple of ways to interpret this word, and I definitely do NOT have stamps for that.  I went back to one of my earliest stamp purchases--where I fell in love with the grass image in the stamp set, and then bought the set used from the PTI Forum.

I colored my focal point with Distress Markers and then added texture to the front panel.  I don't know why, but I still really love this grass.  Perhaps because it never needs water, cutting or weeding?  I live in a older neighborhood, and most of the mailboxes on our street (including mine) look just like this.

Now, it is your turn.  What do you think of when you see the word GRASS?  Have some fun with the cue word GRASS, and then please link up your creation on the CASology blog by Monday at noon (CST).

Check out the beautiful designs from the CASology Design Team members and see how they were inspired by GRASS.  Don't forget to keep your card Clean and Simple.

 Thanks for Visiting

  9. Oh these mail boxes are so fun, Joyce, perfectly perched above the grassy knoll ... ours, whilst a different style of box, wouldn't look at all out of (it's wonky) place alongside them! Anita :)

  18. Adorable!
    Love those mailboxes! :)
And my first thought when I saw "grass" is still illegal in most states and so far I don't have any stamps depicting any manner of said grass. :)
