The 12 Kits of Occasions: February 2014

February seemed shorter than usual, and now it is time to post our projects for the 12 Kits of Occasions.  Our hostess this month is Renee, and she sent the most wonderful and enormous package of goodies, all centered around snow.  Living in San Diego, I don't encounter snow unless I am either traveling or crafting, and crafting with snow is quite fun.  Those of you who live with snow might not think it is as much fun as I do.

Here is a picture of Renee's kit, and you can click on over to the 12 Kits of Occasions blog to see a list of supplies.  This kit was just bursting to the brim with fun goodies, great embellishments and beautiful papers.  I made 6 cards and my kit looks like has not been touched at all.  There is a lot to see, so I'll get right into the cards.

That's it for me this month.  I am interested to see what everyone else did.  I still do have quite a few things left over that I can use for CASE-ing.  Thank you so very much, Renee, for sending such a wonderful kit.

And, there's more.  We have a special guest designer this month, Judy from Judy's Card Corner.  Judy is on the CASology Design Team with Tracey and me, and I can not wait to see what she has done with this kit.

Please stop by our 12 Kits of Occasions blog page, our Facebook Page, our Pinterest page, and also visit all the other members of our 12 Kits of Occasions group.

  3. Joyce...wow, 6 amazing cards! You are so creative, I love them all but I do have a favorite, your third card is the best...love all the pink with those amazing snowflakes. Your flag/banner card at the end is so pretty, I never think to do that and your card is so festive. I love them all Joyce, as always, you did so many fabulous things with this kit...can't wait to case them all!

  4. Going straight to my favorite Joyce...the Warmest Winter Wishes with the snowman is fabulous!!!! Can't say that enough. The colors really POP and I think your coloring is spot on! I also really love the tree inside the ovals...you need to pin that one in the Lil Inker flickr gallery...really highlights those dies!

  5. Joyce, your cards are totally amazing (as I knew they would be)! I couldn't wait to see what you came up with, I love the way your wonderfully creative brain works! Sweet cards, and I especially adore the banners of patterned paper under the sentiment...I must try that! This kit was busting with fun goodies, what a wonderful opportunity I was given as a guest designer this month!

  6. You wanted snow you got it! HAHA!!! I love your mix of papers - the patterened snowy hills on the first, and the pretty pennants. My jaw hit the floor when I saw the embossed background with the tree in the center... so much texture - just GORGEOUS!!

  8. No snow but we finally got our much needed rain.
Beautiful snow cards here today Joyce! Your first card made me smile I made one like that without hills and just the base of the globe and I left him without arms and all too. Wonderful group of cards! Love the banner of patterned paper.

  12. Bet there are some people in the East that would be glad to ship some snow your way--lol! Glad that you're finally getting rain though. Fabulous cards, as alway! I always love seeing how you use the patterned paper. You always do such an amazing job. Your fussy cut snowman with the angled papers is adorable and I LOVE the tree inside the oval!

  16. Joyce, each time I scrolled to a new card I was like "oh I like this one," then the next one I'd be "wait I love this one!" They are gorgeous! I just love the sweet polka dot snow on the first snowman card, then the diagonal showman card with that adorable snowman is too cute to handle :) Loving the pink snowflake card, and the great banner card that shows off all that great patterned paper!

  17. Oh I love the one with the colorful banners below the sentiment! So festive and cheerful, and a great way to use the patterned paper. LOVE how you fussy cut that MFT snowman (he WILL be mine soon)! Such a great layout for him. The snowman with the bold red and blue colors and the sparkling silver flakes is so cute, too. But your vellum snowflake card makes my heart go pitty patter...I only used two of my pink ones. I think I need to make a mobile with them so I can see them everyday, hee!
