I took a peek at my phone over breakfast this morning and saw that today's PTI Anniversary Challenge was a Timer Challenge. 7 minutes to grab 7 supplies and make a card within 17 minutes. Fun, right? I knew that my best bet would be to make some cards either inspired by cards I had previously made--casing myself would cut down on the design and fiddling time--or using some of my 'go to' designs. I gave myself the morning to play--what could I get done after getting back from the dog park and before lunch???

Well, that's not bad for a morning's frantic crafting. It is now lunch time, and my crafting time is done for now. On with the business of lunch and school pick ups. Oh, and the 'small matter' of the mess on my desk....I had fun with this challenge--more so than yesterday's.
Thanks for Visiting
Wow! You've been a busy bee...FABULOUS cards Joyce!!! Love them <3
ReplyDeleteAnd there was I, thinking I may get one card made tomorrow morning, and squeeze it in with an hour or so to spare!! So, WOW ...that's some pretty nifty swifty card making, Joyce ... and all so fabulous! I'm inspired! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteAs I was reading along I did wonder about the state of your desk and how big of work area you had left after all that. I have to say that I am very impressed that you managed to whip out so many lovely cards so quickly. Definitely copying other cards helped, but even then you made them quickly and made them well. What a fun challenge!
ReplyDeleteWow - this challenge really worked for you! I'm off to give it a try, but my usual MO is to start with one idea and change direction halfway through.
ReplyDeleteLove your colorful cards, Joyce. That was a good idea to CASE yourself.
ReplyDeletegreat cards!!
ReplyDeleteWow, talk about impressed. All those cards in such a short time, brilliant. Loved them all and the fact that you looked at previous cards and then simplifed and still turned out some beauties. Wondered when I saw the 'birthday' die cuts I thought mmmmm this will take you over but then you stamped and it looked just as good. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteWhat a productive morning you had. These all look great.
ReplyDeleteWow! You made all of them with no more than seven items. That part of the challenge is a whole lot tougher than it seems. If I had to count the die machine and scissors, I'm in trouble. These are positively stunning, and you really show off that 'less is more'. Congrats (as PTI often says).
ReplyDeleteGreat game plan Joyce. Very smart. Cards are all beautiful as always!
ReplyDeleteAwesome cards, Joyce!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. You are just amazing and do many cards too!!! And in so little time. It took me longer to gather my supplies than it did for you to make a card. I am so impressed and love them all. I plan to make a few more tonight and I will be cad'ing you! Thank you for all the inspiration my friend.
ReplyDeleteWow, you did all those before lunch? I don't know how you do it Joyce. It's so good to be getting back into the swing of things craft wise. I've missed all the great cards and blogs. I had to stop by here first and say hey. Good to see you are still going, stronger than ever.
ReplyDeleteOMG, you are amazing! Love all your fabulous cards!
ReplyDeleteI read Saturday's post first and that amazed me. Now I see you did even more cards on Friday. You're a whiz bang at these. You should never lack for a card to send.
ReplyDeleteHoly smokes Joyce you ARE a speedy crafter!! I am enjoying everything you've been working on, these are all fabulous too! My fave of the bunch is the sweet floral cards with the loopy border!!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards. You put me to shame. I only made one. Didn't realize you had to use only 7 supplies. I guess I skimmed over that part when reading. I was so overwhelmed about making a card in 17 minutes. I need to see how many actual suppies I did use on my card.
ReplyDeleteFabulous card. Going CAS is perfect for this challenge. You've inspired me to shift into gear and produce some more!
